Frequently Asked Questions

When would I need to reverse the page order of a PDF?

Most often after a scanner or a print-to-PDF job fed the sheets last page first, or when a document assembled from images ended up backwards. The tool flips the whole sequence so the last page becomes page 1.

Does it change the content or rotation of the pages?

No. Each page is copied as is, including its size, rotation, and any annotations on it; only the order changes.

Are bookmarks preserved?

Page content and page-level annotations are kept, but the output is rebuilt page by page, so document-level bookmarks aren't carried over. Add them back with Edit Bookmarks if you need them.

What is the reversed PDF's filename?

A single PDF downloads with its original filename, so it replaces the source if you save it to the same folder. Several files are reversed independently and downloaded together as reversed_pdfs.zip.

Can I move just a few pages instead of reversing the whole document?

Use Duplicate & Organize to drag pages into any order, duplicate, or delete them. Reverse Pages is a one-click full reversal with no per-page controls.

Can I reverse the pages of a password-protected PDF?

You're asked for the password when processing starts and the decrypted copy is reversed. The output isn't encrypted.

Is the PDF uploaded to reverse it?

No. The pages are copied into a new document by pdf-lib running in your browser, and the file is downloaded from there; nothing is transmitted.
